# Installing the Google Sheets Add-on

This guide provides quick steps to install the SheetPoet Google Sheets Add-on.

# Installation Steps

  1. Open Google Sheets in your browser
  2. Click on Extensions > Add-ons > Get add-ons
  3. Search for "SheetPoet" in the Google Workspace Marketplace
  4. Click on SheetPoet and then Install
  5. Review the permissions and click Continue
  6. Select your Google account if prompted
  7. Click Allow to grant the necessary permissions

# Verifying Installation

After installation, you can verify that SheetPoet has been installed correctly:

  1. Refresh your Google Sheets page
  2. Click on Extensions in the top menu
  3. You should see SheetPoet - WordPress Connector in the dropdown menu

# Accessing SheetPoet

To use SheetPoet:

  1. Click on Extensions > SheetPoet - WordPress Connector
  2. You'll see these options:
    • Data Operations: Contains import, update, and trigger operations
    • Presets: Manage saved operation configurations
    • Manage Credentials: Set up connections to WordPress sites

  1. Set up website credentials to connect to WordPress
  2. Enter your API key (generated in the WordPress plugin)
  3. Start using operations to exchange data

# Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues during installation:

  • Verify you're logged in to the correct Google account
  • Check if you are logged into multiple accounts. Try logging out of all accounts except the one you want to use for SheetPoet.
  • Clear your browser cache and cookies
  • Try using a different browser
  • Check if your organization restricts add-ons
  • Ensure you have sufficient permissions in Google Workspace
